Margery Tonks passed away at her home in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, with family by her side. She first came to Chebeague in the 1940’s and enjoyed the island summer after summer after summer.

Born to Adam and Sally Rothschild, a son, Tom Madsen Rothschild joined us at 651am on 8/31/13. He weighed 8lbs 2oz.

Born to Meredith and Joshua Coates of Northampton, MA, a daughter, Maya Eileen Coates, weighing in at 7lbs and 20″ long. Maya has a sister Rosie age 4 and is the fourth great-grand child of Charlotte Richards Morse a former summer resident of Division Point.

T. Vance Chamberlin, 64, died in Wilmington, NC after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Seton and children Katie Sherwin of Ballston Lake, NY and Megan Chamberlin of Denver, Co and a sister Annie Boyer of Mechanicsburg, PA.and his mother Lillian Chamberlin of Boulder Colorado.Vance spent many summers on Chebeague and he loved it here.

Stephen Hamilton, 69, died unexpectedly on Chebeague.

Rob Trower, died on Sunday after a brief illness. Rob is David’s younger brother, cousin to Jennifer Hamilton and Martha Trower. He loved life.

Clifford Leroy Damon Jr., 93, died Thursday, July 31, at his home in North Auburn following several months of declining health. Cliff is Doug Damon’s father. Service will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Auburn United Methodist Church on Park Avenue.
