Eleanor Bronson, age 82 (long time friend of Leland and Karen Hamilton) passed away.. Most people remember her walking around the island. She never let her medical problems keep her away from Chebeague.

Wilbur “Spike” Meredith, age 74, passed away in Cleveland, Ohio. Spike was born October 10, 1936 to Dr. Wilbur R. “Rib’ II and Lillian (Buxbaum) Meredith. His is the father of Dr. Shannon Meredith of Cumberland. A cousin to Jackie Cross, Donald and Robert Buxbaum.

Phyllis Mildred Moynihan passed away on Dec. 13, 2010, five days shy of her 96th birthday surrounded by her loving family.

Born to TJ and Elizabeth Lawrence Willett, a son, Henry Lawrence Willett.

Barbara Dodd Anderson, 78, daughter of David and Elsie Dodd, passed away November 26, 2010. Her final days were passed at home in Fresno, California, with her family at her side. An informal service will be held at the Chebeague Island Cemetery on July 10, 2011, at 1100 a.m.

Harold L. White, 80, died unexpectedly at the Seaside Nursing Home where he resided.

Born to Brad and Peg Smith of Portland, a daughter, Eve Marie Smith. Evie joins her sister, Helen Grace (Ellie), 18 months. Proud Grandparents are Brad and Pam Smith, North Yarmouth and Chebeague! Both girls look forward to summers on the island.

Nathan Dyer O’Neil, 87, died in San Antonio, Texas. Nathan is the brother to Tink Lessing Evans and the brother-in-law of Beryle O’Neil.

Anne K. Galey, 92, of Falmouth died at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born to Susan Hiniker and Michael Khodadoust, a son, Lucas Edward Khodadoust. Lucas was 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and 20 1/2; inches long. Everyone is doing great. Lucas’s grandparents are Mary and Jerry Hiniker, and his great-grandparents are Henry and the late Sally Immerwahr. Susie and Mike were married on Chebeague on July 18, 2009, and they can’t wait to introduce Lucas to Chebeague next summer.
