Born to Marketa (McGuire) Elsner and Zach Elsner of Seattle, WA, a son Elias Weld Elsner. Eli was born at 907 pm, weighing 7 lbs. 0.5 oz and 20 inches long. He is welcomed by Grandparents Bob McGuire and Judy Keil, Helena McGuire and Jon Ferriss, Ron and Marge Elsner, by Great grandparents William McGuire, Eileen Morris and Dorothy Elsner. The family is looking forward to Eli’s first visit to the island this summer.

Lillian Victoria Brown Dodd, 97, died in Quincy, Mass.

Edwin (Bounce) B. Nida, 76, passed away in New Hampshire.

Born to Brooke (West) and John Williams, a son, Jackson Thomas Williams. Jackson was born at 220 pm, weighs 8 lbs. 14 ozs. and is 20 and 1/2 inches long. Big Sister, Ellie, is thrilled to have a little brother. All are doing very well. Grandparents Jack and Gail Williams and Susan and Richard West are also thrilled with the latest edition to their families. Betty Shute and Ellie Hill, are his Chebeague great-grandmothers.

Born to Philip and Lesley Grant in Morrisville, Vt, a son, Schuyler Charles Grant. His sister Ainsley and grandparents Schuyler and Linda Grant welcome him with joy.

Stanley Taylor Bennett II, 64, of Falmouth, passed away in Scarborough. Stan is the first cousin to Joan Robinson.

Born to Marci and Scott Martindale, a daughter, Mia Rae Martindale. She weighed 6lbs 15oz and joins her sister, Kassie Lynn. She is the granddaughter of Donna and Fred Martindale.

Paul C. Wolff, 87..of Lake Worth ,Florida died at the Veteran’s Hosp. there of diabetes & other complications. He was the last of the Komlosy cousins. His ashes will be interred beside his father in the Chebeague cemetery in the Spring.

William Allan Calthorpe, age 77, of Palmetto, FL died February 11, 2011 of complications of pneumoni. He is the father of Bill Calthorpe and Leanne Stefanilo.
