Born to Trish and Mark Landgren, a daughter, Elizabeth Capen Landgren. She is the sister to Anna and Anders Landgren and the grandaughter to Jane Landgren and Marilyn and Dick Nicklas. Her great Aunt is Patricia Squires-Brown. Great Uncles are David Squires and Bob Brown. Elizabeth will be “in residence” at the Squires Cottage in July.

Mary Elizabeth “Ibbets” Glines Knapp 92, died peacefully at Kendal on Hudson in Sleepy Hollow with loving family by her side. She is a longtime friend and summer companion on Chebeague of Betty (Duff) Shute.

Specialist Wade A. Slack, 21, of Waterville, Maine died in Afghanistan. Wade and some of his family members have been visitors to Chebeague Island, staying at Camp Providence for weekends over the last 10 – 12 years.

He is welcomed by Grandparents Bob McGuire and Judy Keil, Helena McGuire and Jon Ferriss, Ron and Marge Elsner, by Great grandparents William McGuire, Eileen Morris and Dorothy Elsner. The family is looking forward to Eli’s first visit to the island this summer.

Born to Brooke (West) and John Williams, a son, Jackson Thomas Williams. Jackson was born at 220 pm, weighs 8 lbs. 14 ozs. and is 20 and 1/2 inches long. Big Sister, Ellie, is thrilled to have a little brother. All are doing very well.
