Congratulations to Christopher LeSiege and Heidi Sloan were married at Val Halla CC in Cumberland. Their daughters Acadia LeSiege and Tayler Sloan were the flowergirls. Chris is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Buxbaum. Heidi is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Sloan of Cumberland.

Congratulations to John Emery and Elyse Goldstein who were married on Chebeague Island. John is the son of Chip and Vicki (Hamilton) Emery. He is the grandson of Ken and Jeanette Hamilton and Marica Wood and the late Ted Wood. John and Elyse will reside in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Born to John and Katie Oderda, son, Owen Michael Oderda at 941pm.

Born to Amanda Garcia and Roxanne Mailloux, a daughter, Adelaide Miyoko Mailloux. She was born at 120am and weighed 7 pounds, 4 oz and was 20″ long. She is the granddaughter to Nancy and David Hill.

Congratulations to Nicole Taft and Adam Johnson who were married in Brandon, Vermont. Adam is the son of Scott and Charlotte Johnson.

Born to Rob and Katie McCollom, a son, Gavin Noah McCollom. He weighed in at 4lbs 6.5 oz. and is 18″ long. Grandparents are Kathy and Joe Vincent, Scott and Laurie McCollom and great grandparents are Don and Cheryl Buxbaum.

Born to Mike Long and Sara Coskery, a daughter, Hailey Ann. Hailey was born at 807 am and weighed 6lbs 9oz and was 18 1/2″. She is the granddaughter of Ann Long Ormsby who passed away in February of this year. Hailey is doing very well and hopefully will visit the island this summer for a dedication of a garden bench at the school in memory of her grandmother Ann.

Born to Jeslyn and Jared Carr, a son, Dillon Edward Carr in Cambridge. Mass. He weighed 7lbs 6oz and is the second great-grandchild of Charlotte Richards Morse.

Gail Craven Watson, 73, died at home in El Paso, Texas. Gail was Madeline Craven’s daughter.

Born to Trish and Mark Landgren, a daughter, Elizabeth Capen Landgren. She is the sister to Anna and Anders Landgren and the grandaughter to Jane Landgren and Marilyn and Dick Nicklas. Her great Aunt is Patricia Squires-Brown. Great Uncles are David Squires and Bob Brown. Elizabeth will be “in residence” at the Squires Cottage in July.
