Born to Lisa and Jason Brown, a son, Nicholas Ross Brown born almost 4 weeks early at 323 pm. He was 5 pounds, 1 oz. and 18 inches long. Mom, Dad, and Big sister Emily are doing great. He is the grandson of late Ross Martindale Jr, great grandson of late Ross Martindale and the great nephew of Fred and Donna Martindale.

Janet Louise Landis, 52, died at home in Cumberland. Janet is the wife of Bill Landis and mother to Christine. Bill has been the Recreation Director in Cumberland for many years. Her service and visiting hours will be the weekend of Feb 22nd.

Ralph Leander Brown, 74, died peacefully, with no pain in his sleep with his family by his side. Ralph is the father of Vickie Taliento.

Philip Harding Jordan, Jr. Phil, 91, passed with his wife, Sheila, and his sons, Philip and John, at his side. There will be a Community Reception for Phil Jordan on Sunday afternoon, August 14, between 200, and 400, at 17 Backshore Drive, the old Barn House, East End. Please come. Born to Amy Baxter and Roald Gundersen, a son, in Stoddard, Wisconsin. He weighed 8 lbs 14 oz. As of 2/4/09 he and his mother are in the hospital where he is recovering from viral pneumonia. He is the grandson of Peter and Linda Carleton.

Born to Jeremy Putnam & Cece Green, a son, Nathan Hill Putnam. He weighed 6 lbs 2 oz and was 14 inches Grandparents Nancy & Jim Vachon, Bill & Julie Putnam and Great Grandparents Harris & Shelby Putnam and Sam Hackenberger.

Born to Christina (McGuire) and Brendan Adelman, a son, Cash Thomas Adelman. He arrived at 1128 pm weighing 5 lbs 5 oz and 19 in. long. This is the first grandchild for Bob McGuire and Helena McGuire and the second for Tom and Cathy Adelman. Mom, Dad, and Cash are doing well and thank everyone for their love and support.

Bob W.Jones , 69, passed away at the Island Commons. His wife, Peggie and daughters, Becky and Debbie, and dear friend, Ginny were at his side.
