Born to Meagan Phipps and Hanni Mazloum, a son, James McLester Mazloum. 7lbs,15oz. James is the first grandchild of Sheila and Tom Phipps.

Joan Kendall Deming, 92, died at Gosnell Memorial Hospice Home. She was born on November 10, 1931 and died on September 15, 2024. We would like to thank everyone who loved her and participated in her care and especially the wonderful staff at the Island Commons and those on the Rescue team who helped her leave Chebeague. Plans are not complete, but a celebration of life will be held for her next spring. Lynda and Gary Oderda

Clifford Lewis Barker, 95, died in Union Maine, after a short illness.

Ruth Bayley Ferreira Houghton, 85, died peacefully at Fallbrook Woods in Portland. There is no public service planned.

Barbara Curit Thorp, 86, passed away in Cohoes, NY. Barbara was the daughter of Marjorie Sands (Likins) and Barton Francis Curit.

Natalie Hall “Lally” Webb, died peacefully in Wyckoff, NJ. An ardent lover of Maine, she will be sorely missed by her children, Kip Webb and Martha Vernon, and the entire Webb family.
