Louis “Lou” Spanner, 78, passed away after a short illness at Morristown Hospital, New Jersey.

Gail Worthen, 69, died unexpectedly. There will be a celebration of life Wednesday, February 12 at 11AM at the Lindquist Funeral Home with a luncheon to follow.

Laura Calder Usher, 62, died unexpectedly at home in Cumberland.

Joan Marie Phipps, 94, died. She is the mother of Brian and Rob. There will be a service Saturday, February 8th at 1030 at the Chebeague Church.

Banu Hassan KomLosy, 97, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children. A Remembrance Gathering will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 1100 AM to 200 PM at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford Street, Portland, ME. A Celebration of Life will be held on Chebeague Island this summer, more to follow.

Janet A. Martin, 84, passed away at the Commons. Jan is the mother to John Martin.

Bruce Bowman, 76, died unexpectedly on Chebeague.

Born to Rachel Matusko & Pete Walker, a daughter, River McCool Walker and weighed 8lbs 15oz. They are so overjoyed and beyond grateful for the community support!

Ronald Joseph McKinnon, 83, passed away at home on Chebeague with his family by his side.

Gisele Kathryn Brosseau Phipps, 68, passed away due to numerous complications resulting from a catastrophic elevator accident on January 5th, 2024.
