Gilbert E. “Bert” Woolfrey, 78, of Townsend, MA, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born to Jack and Brianna Dayton, a daughter, Isabel Mae Dayton. She is the granddaughter of Toby and Mae Dayton, the great-granddaughter of Joan Layng Dayton and is happy to be the first of the seventh generation of Layngs on Chebeague!

Dwight Bruce Verrill, 79, of Chesterville, passed away peacefully after a long illness.

Jane Shute Scifres, 74, passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.

Arthur P. Pellerin, 82, lifelong resident of Winslow, passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center. He is the father of Pete Pellerin and grandfather to Juliette and Palmer.

Dorothy Lorraine Newcomb Young, 89, passed away in Dover-Foxcroft.

Ron Formisano, 84, died at home in Lexington, KY after a good fight, Erica was by his side, a weekend with his daughter Laura and son Matthew and after visits from friends and family. A celebration of life is in the future. Celebration of Life for Ron at the Hall. 1-3 pm on Sunday August 4th.

Helen Taylor Fournier, 85, of Freeport, died peacefully. She is the mother of Sharon Fournier and “adopted” mom of May Hall. She was an amazing woman who will be missed by many.

Tristram Deforest Coffin, 84 died in Lakewood, Colorado from congestive heart failure. Tristram is the twin brother to Howard Coffin.

Ann Louise (Brown) Belesca, 88, passed away on Chebeague.
