Born to Jocelyn Hulburt and Shay Kuntz, a boy, Oliver MacPherson Kuntz, 9lbs 3 oz. His Grandparents are David and Clara Hulburt and his Great Grandparents are Mac Hulburt and Joan Hulburt. He is named after his Great Grandfather and can’t wait to continue Mac’s sailing tradition.

S. Hayes MacArthur Jr., 71, passed away in Branchburg, New Jersey.

Dr. Jeffrey W. Hahn, passed away from complications of acute hypoxemia.

Russell Hunter, 96, died peacefully at home in Farmington, CT. He is the father of Bruce, David and Johanna Hunter.

Geraldine (Geri) Elizabeth Otey Phipps passed away while in hospice care at the age of 91. Geri is the mother of Jim and Tom Phipps and Barbara Springstroh.

Morton S. Silin, age 93, of Falmouth, passed away less than 3 weeks after the death of his wife Irene. Mort is the father of Steve Silin and father-in-law of Diane Lukac. He loved Chebeague. And was especially fond of eating lobsters caught fresh from the waters around the island. He and his wife will be sorely missed by Steve, Diane and their son, Jonathan.

Eugene Brooks Bromberg, 56, of Birmingham, Alabama, died unexpectedly. The Brombergs lived on Chebeague in the late 90’s.

He is the grandson of Peggy Brown and Scott McGovern, and the great-grandson of Anne Brown and the late Harper Brown. He joins a large extended family with connections to Chebeague, who welcome him with lots of love and joy!
