Joan B Cox, died on April 14th in the arms of her family. Heaven for her was sitting on the porch, looking out at Casco Bay and Hope.

Daniel S. Millar, 66, of Harpswell died. He was the husband of Lorrie (Nicki) Kane Millar.

Born to Matthew and Maria McDonough, their first child, Theodore “Teddy” Brian McDonough. Teddy is the grandson of Laurie Wood, Scott McCollom and Chris McDonough. The Wood-Emery family can’t wait to welcome him to Chebeague Island and tell him all about his 5th great grandfather, Benjamin Waite, who once owned a good portion of the eastern half of the island.

Born to Ali (Layng) & Chris Slack. a boy, Mason Gardiner Slack. He is the eleventh grandchild of Amanda and John Layng, at 7 lbs 5 oz. Mason and family are looking forward to being on Chebeague this summer with the entire Layng clan.

Born to Gina Oderda Cicere and Patrick Cicere their second daughter, Georgia June Cicere. She weighed in at 6 pounds 14 ounces. After a rough start she is doing great. Gina is the daughter of Lynda and Gary Oderda. Her parents and grandparents look forward to welcoming Georgia, and her big sister Maren, to Chebeague this summer.

Born to Travis and Jesse, a baby girl, Riley Taylor Souchek at 4lbs. 6 oz. First time grandparents are Terry and Steven Souchek. Second time great grandparents are Med and Marlene Bowen.

Born to Brooke Buxbaum Langlois and Christian Langlois, a son, Rylan Chandler Langlois. Welcomed by maternal grandparents Kristen (Dyer) and DeeGee Buxbaum of Chebeage Island and family and paternal grandparents Rob and Shari Langlois of Scarborough and family.

Parker Keith, 80, died at the Gosnell House in Scarborough.

Born to Toby Lunt and Valerie Stull, a baby boy, Cyrus Harvey Lunt-Stull, 10bs. 13oz. He is the second grandson of Jeanne Mullen and Jim Lunt, joining his cousin and partner in island shenanigans, Nicolas Lunt.

Clarissa “Peg” Damon, 94, passed away peacefully with family by her side. Peg is the mother of Doug Damon. Grandmother of Rachel and Tom.
