Benjamin Scot Prescott, 55, passed away, at his home in Chicheste of cancer after a long battle. He is the son of Ben and Pat Prescott and nephew to Wink and Ruthie Houghton.

Second born to Kyle and Katie (Layng) Khasigian, a son, Reed Jackson, weighing 7 pounds, 11oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Reed is the grandson of Amanda and John Layng and great grand son to the late Jeanne and Gardiner Layng.

Born to Brendan Winkel and Megan Leighton, a son, Tobias Alan, in Portland, Maine. He is the first grandchild of Jaye-Allison Nunan and the first great-grandchild of Deborah and Mark Storms of Yarmouth.

Born to Bryce and Angela Crapser welcomed their first baby on Easter Sunday, Leah Marie, weighing 6 lbs. 7 ozs. Ecstatic grandparents are Rich and Sally (Layng) Crapser, and all are anxious to introduce Leah to Chebeague.

Milo Matrazzo, 79, died at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarboro.

Frances Calder, 83, died peacefully at home in Cumberland with family by her side. A private service is planned.
